We gave the people of Israel a settled abode, and bestowed good things on them to eat and use. So they did not differ until they came to have knowledge. Your Lord will assuredly settle their differences on the Day of Resurrection. 93 If you are in any doubt concerning what We have sent down to you, then question those who have read the Book before you: the Truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be one of the doubters -- 94 Do not be among those who belie the verses of Allah, for then you would be among the losers. 95 Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe, 96 Even if every Sign was brought unto them,- until they see (for themselves) the penalty grievous. 97 Why then was there not a township which believed, so that its faith might have profited it, except the people of Yunus! When they believed, We removed from them the torment of humiliation in the life of the world, and We let them enjoy for a season. 98 If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have come to believe, one and all. 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand. 100 Say: "Behold all that is in the heavens and on earth"; but neither Signs nor Warners profit those who believe not. 101 Can they expect anything but what the people before them had known? Say: "Then wait. I am waiting with you." 102 [For thus it always happens: We seal the doom of all who deny the truth and give the lie to Our messages;] and thereupon We save Our apostles and those who have attained to faith. Thus have We willed it upon Ourselves: We save all who believe [in Us,] 103
