We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 We have provided on it sustenance for you, and for those you cannot provide. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
