The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

By the snorting chargers, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
