And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to carve dwellings in the hills, without fear. 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 AND, INDEED, We have bestowed upon thee seven of the oft repeated [verses,] and [have, thus, laid open before thee] this sublime Qur'an: 87 Look not with your eyes ambitiously at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them (the disbelievers), nor grieve over them. And lower your wings for the believers (be courteous to the fellow-believers). 88 And say, "Indeed, I am the clear warner" - 89 even as We had sent warning to those who had divided their religion into fragments; 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 Them, by thy Lord, We shall question, every one, 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and avoid the polytheists. 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 who assert that there are, side by side with God, other divine powers as well: for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 96 We know indeed thy breast is straitened by the things they say. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
