Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement? 83 So make no haste against them, for We but count out to them a (limited) number (of days). 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 Every one of them shall come to Him upon the Day of Resurrection, all alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And many a generation We did destroy before them; do you see any one of them or hear their faintest sound? 98
