54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ha'. Mim. 1 This is a revelation from the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, 2 A Book the verses of which are explained in detail, the Qur’an in Arabic for people of intellect. 3 one bearing good news and warning. Yet most of them turned away and are not wont to give heed. 4 And say: "Our hearts are immured against what you call us to. There is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. So act (your way), we are acting (ours)." 5 Say: I am only a mortal like you; it is revealed to me that your Allah is one Allah, therefore follow the right way to Him and ask His forgiveness; and woe to the polytheists; 6 who pay not the alms, and disbelieve in the world to come. 7 Indeed for those who believed and did good deeds, is a limitless reward. 8
