Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 upon the straight path. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
