By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and whenever they see some sign, they ridicule it, 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
