In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
