Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 (O Muhammad)! Repel evil in the best manner. We are well aware of all that they say about you. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 the Fire smiting their faces the while they glower there. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And the one who worships any other God along with Allah – of which he does not have any proof – his account is with his Lord; indeed there is no salvation for the disbelievers. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
