Prostration

Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that He it is Who enriches and gives to hold; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Does this statement seem strange to them 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
