a large group of the earlier people 39 And a large group from the latter. 40 And those of the left hand, how wretched are those of the left hand! 41 In scorching wind and boiling hot water. 42 And shadow of black smoke, 43 neither cool, neither goodly; 44 Verily they have been heretofore affluent. 45 And were persisting in great sin (joining partners in worship along with Allah, committing murders and other crimes, etc.) 46 and constantly said: 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be restored to life? 47 And our forefathers [as well]?" 48 Say: 'The ancients, and the later folk 49 shall be gathered together to the appointed time on a known Day' 50 Then you, the erring and the deniers, 51 Will be eating from trees of zaqqum 52 filling your bellies, with it 53 "And drink Boiling Water on top of it: 54 Drinking even as the camel drinketh. 55 Such will be their entertainment on the Day of Requital! 56 We! it is We Who created you: wherefore confess ye not? 57 Did you ever consider the sperm that you emit? 58 did you create it or did We? 59 We have [indeed] decreed that death shall be [ever-present] among you: but there is nothing to prevent Us 60 That We may substitute others like unto you and produce you into that which ye know not. 61 And assuredly ye have fully known the first production wherefore heed ye not? 62 Behold! that which ye sow. 63 Do you yourselves sow it, or are We the Sowers? 64 Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment, 65 (Saying), "We are indeed left with debts (for nothing): 66 Indeed, we have been deprived of the fruits of our labour." 67 See ye the water which ye drink? 68 Is it ye who shed it from the raincloud, or are We the Shedder? 69 [It comes down sweet - but] were it Our will, We could make it burningly salty and bitter: why, then, do you not give thanks [unto Us]? 70 Have you considered the fire which you strike? 71 Is it you who grew its tree, or is it We Who create? 72 We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers, 73 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 74

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
