1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
O Ye apostles! eat the good things and work righteously; verily of that which ye work I am the Knower. 51 Your religion is but one religion -- and I am your only Lord, therefore, fear Me. 52 Then they cut their affair among them in regard to the Scriptures; each band in that which is with them rejoicing. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that by increasing their wealth and children 55 We are hastening to reward them for good deeds? No. They do not comprehend. 56 Verily those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 And those who believe in the communications of their Lord, 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 And those who dispense their charity with their hearts full of fear, because they will return to their Lord;- 60 to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task. 61 And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.) 62 NAY, [as for those who have torn asunder the unity of faith] - their hearts are lost in ignorance of all this! But apart from that [breach of unity] they have [on their conscience even worse] deeds; and they will [continue to] commit them 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 'Groan not today; surely you shall not be helped from Us. 65 My verses had already been recited to you, but you were turning back on your heels 66 waxing proud against it, talking foolish talk by night.' 67 Have they, then, never tried to understand this word [of God]? Or has there [now] come to them something that never came to their forefathers of old? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or do they say: There is madness in him? Nay! he has brought them the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth. 70 And if the truth had been in accordance with their desires, verily, the heavens and the earth, and whosoever is therein would have been corrupted! Nay, We have brought them their reminder, but they turn away from their reminder. 71 Or, do you ask a tribute from them? Your Lord's tribute is better. He is the Best of providers. 72 And lo! thou summonest them indeed unto a straight path. 73 but those who disbelieve in the Everlasting Life deviate from the Path. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their insolence, blindly wandering. 75 We already seized them with the chastisement, yet they abased not themselves to their Lord nor were they humble; 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
