Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
