When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 He replied, "Lord, I am afraid that they will call me a liar. 12 and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron. 13 They have charged me [with a crime] for which I am afraid they will kill me." 14 He said: By no means, so go you both with Our signs; surely We are with you, hearing; 15 Go, then, to Pharaoh and say to him: 'The Lord of the Universe has sent us 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 Yet you were ungrateful and have done the deed you did' 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 I fled from you because I feared you. But my Lord has given me judgment and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 [Pharaoh] said to those around him, "Do you not hear?" 25 He said, 'Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" 28 'If you take any other god except myself' he (Pharaoh) replied, 'you shall be thrown into prison' 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 (Pharaoh) said: Produce it then, if thou art of the truthful! 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand and lo! it was white to the beholders. 33
