Al-Taghaabun 2 of 2

No affliction can befall man but by God's permission -- He guides the hearts of those who believe in Him: God has knowledge of all things -- 11 Pay heed, then, unto God, and pay heed unto the Apostle; and if you turn away, [know that] Our Apostle's only duty is a clear delivery of this message: 12 God: There is no god but He; and in God should believers place their trust. 13 O YOU who have attained to faith! Behold, some of your spouses and your children are enemies unto you: so beware of them! But if you pardon [their faults] and forbear, and forgive - then, behold, God will be much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace. 14 Your wealth and your children are only a temptation, whereas Allah! with Him is an immense reward. 15 Therefore fear Allah as much as you can, and listen, obey, and spend well for yourselves. And whosoever is saved from the greed of his own soul; those are the winners. 16 if you give a good loan to God, He will multiply it for you and forgive you, for God is appreciative and forbearing; 17 The Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Mighty, the Wise. 18
