It is He who made the earth subservient to you that you may travel all around it, and eat of things He has provided; and to Him will be your resurrection. 15 Do you feel secure that the One in the heavens will not cause you to sink into the earth when it is violently shaking? 16 Do you feel secure that He who is in the heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles then you shall know how was My warning. 17 Those who went before them belied [the truth]: then how great was My rejection of them. 18 Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them? None, except the Merciful holds them. Surely, He sees all things. 19 Which is your army that will come to your aid against the Merciful Lord? But the unbelievers are in utter delusion. 20 Or, who is it that shall provide for you if He withholds His provision? Yet they persist in arrogance and aversion. 21 Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path? 22 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): He it is who gave you being, and hath assigned unto you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 23 Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." 24 They say: “If you are truthful, tell us when will this promise (of the Hereafter) be fulfilled?” 25 Say thou, [O Prophet:] "Knowledge thereof rests with God alone; and I am only a plain warner." 26 But when they see it drawing near, the faces of those who deny the truth will turn gloomy and they will be told, "This is what you were calling for." 27 (Muhammad), say, "Have you not considered that regardless whether God forgives me and my followers or grants us mercy, but who will protect the disbelievers from a painful torment? 28 Say thou: He is the Compassionate; in Him we have believed, and in Him we have put our trust. And anon ye will know who it is that is in error manifest. 29 Say: Have you considered if your water should go down, who is it then that will bring you flowing water? 30
