Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive. 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord Most Great. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
