And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when they reached the point where the two rivers meet, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, as if through a tunnel. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: "You see, I forgot the fish on the rock where we had stopped. Only Satan made me forget to mention this; but the wonder is the fish escaped to the sea." 63 [Moses] exclaimed: "That [was the place] which we were seeking! And the two turned back, retracing their footsetps, 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Moses said to him: "May l follow you that you may teach me something of the wisdom which you have been taught?" 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said, “Therefore if you stay with me, do not ask me about anything until I myself mention it to you.” 70
