We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
