The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
