Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
