We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
