The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
