Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
