Lo! the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 as boiling water bubbles. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 "Verily! This is that whereof you used to doubt!" 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59
