Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
