The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When the earth is shaken with its (final) earthquake. 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
