Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 he shall roast at a flaming fire 3 along with his wife, that carrier of slanderous tales; 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
