Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

May the hands of Abu Lahab perish, may he be ruined. 1 His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
