۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
