Do not kill your children because you fear poverty. We will provide for you and them. Killing them is a great sin. 31 And approach not fornication; surely it is an indecency, and evil as a way. 32 And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, except by right. And whoever is killed unjustly - We have given his heir authority, but let him not exceed limits in [the matter of] taking life. Indeed, he has been supported [by the law]. 33 Come not nigh to the orphan's property except to improve it, until he attains the age of full strength; and fulfil (every) engagement, for (every) engagement will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning). 34 And correctly measure when you measure, and weigh correctly with the scales; this is better, and has a better outcome. 35 Do not follow what you do not know; the ears, eyes, and hearts will all be held responsible for their deeds. 36 Nor walk on the earth with insolence: for thou canst not rend the earth asunder, nor reach the mountains in height. 37 The wickedness of each of that is hateful to your Lord. 38 That is of the wisdom your Lord has revealed to you. Do not set up with Allah another god, or you will be cast into Gehenna, condemned and rejected. 39 Has God chosen to give you sons, and taken for Himself daughters from among the angels? You utter grievous things indeed! 40
