Do then those who disbelieve think that they can take My slaves [i.e., the angels, Allah's Messengers, 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), etc.] as Auliya' (lords, gods, protectors, etc.) besides Me? Verily, We have prepared Hell as an entertainment for the disbelievers (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism). 102 Say: "Shall I tell you whose labour will be wasted? 103 "Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds! 104 Those are they who disbelieve in the revelations of their Lord and in the meeting with Him. Therefor their works are vain, and on the Day of Resurrection We assign no weight to them. 105 Thus it is that their recompense is hell, because they disbelieved and held My communications and My apostles in mockery. 106 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs are the Gardens of Paradise for welcome, 107 Where they will abide for ever, never wanting a change. 108 Say: Though the sea became ink for the Words of my Lord, verily the sea would be used up before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even though We brought the like thereof to help. 109 Say: "I am only a man like you, but it has been communicated to me that your Lord is one and single God, and that whosoever hopes to meet his Lord should do what is right, and not associate any one in the worship of his Lord." 110
