Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 When it is not meet for (the Majesty of) the Beneficent that He should choose a son. 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
