[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 It is He Who has dispersed you all around the earth, and it is unto Him that you shall all be mustered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
