The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim 1 These are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 Never does there come to them an admonition from the Merciful Lord but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
