۞ Also, We revealed to Moses, saying: 'Go with My worshipers by night, for you will be followed' 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 but they are indeed filled with hatred of us 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
