The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 He said: My Lord! Lo! my own folk deny me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
