The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
