3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 and when he said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 And he cast a look at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called unto him, 'Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113
