And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
