The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
