And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 (and We said to him): “Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant (of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu al-Kifl. All were of the best. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 All this; but for the insolent awaits an ill resort, 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 And other torments of similar kind, all together! 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
