The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
