Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatever form He willed has He assembled you. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, recording, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
