The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
