The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If (such) were Our Will, We could send down to them from the sky a Sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
