Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
