Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
