The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 By the night when it darkeneth, 2 Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 And keep recounting the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
